Typical Sticking Key Repair – $25

Many things can cause sticking keys and we can't know if it is a simple fix or a bigger problem that will require extra parts or deeper restoration of the piano mechanism.   Typically it is a quick fix and will cost about $25.  I have to see the piano to fully diagnose the problem, and generally recommend booking a tuning service so that I can take care of the sticking keys during the tuning.
**General maintenance, dagnostics and  repair is billed at $100/hr labor.

Grand Piano Cleaning/Detailing - $250

Is your piano dirty & dusty?  I can get that dust off of your beautiful soundboard!  Full detailed cleaning of the the inside action and cavity of the piano.  This deep cleaning service should be done about every 3-5 years or as needed depending on the dust level in your home.  Once this service is complete, you can easily maintain the piano and keep the dust to a minimum.

Regulation  (Ask for Quote)

All pianos should be regulated about every 5 years so they will continue to work properly.  Most pianos do not receive the proper service and, over a long period of time, become sluggish and do not play like they should.  I often see very expensive pianos that have not been properly regulated and play very poorly.  After my regulation service, you will notice a wonderful change in the touch, tone and feel of your piano!  A properly regulated piano is a joy to play.  Proper regulation can make your piano feel new again!

Hammer Voicing – $150

Does your piano sound bright and harsh.  Do you remember when it sounded full and round?  Over time, the hammers become hard and compressed.  This happens because they hit the strings thousands of times as you play over the years.  Voicing can include reshaping the hammers and using special needles and tools to soften the hammer.  We also use the revolutionary Rapid Voicer System which enhaces the sound of your piano.
